| Our group rates start for as few as fifteen people. Because of the many different activities here at our mine, Your experience here at Vein Mountain Gold Camp & Carolina Emerald Mine! can be tailor-made ... depending on your group's preferences. Below are three examples of "day outings". . . We have the professionalism and ability to combine these day outings into a wonderful four-day trip for you and your group and all the GEMs and GOLD you find are yours to keep. If you are planning on CAMPING during your visit as a group the nightly charge is $3.00 per person and we have plenty of bus parking available. |
Day Outing # 1 You and your group spend up to six hours working at our water flume. Staff will be available to explain the operation and assist you with mineral identification and provide you with helpful hints. You dig your own mine run from piles of material from our mine. The first two 3 gal. buckets are included in the daily rate. Gold pans, screens, buckets and other equipment are supplied at no added charge. $1.00 Charge for each additional bucket |
| Day Outing # 2 You and your group spend up to six hours working in the stream panning and hand slucing for gold and natural crystals. Staff will spend the morning teaching by hands on experience, the art of gold panning and hand slucing. Staff will be available through out the day to offer assistance and provide helpful hints to improve their skills. All gold pans, screens, buckets, and up to two hand sluices are supplied at no additional charge. |
| Day Outing # 3 You and your group will enjoy all of the advantages in example # 2 plus run a gold dredge and a high banker. Large screens will be supplied for your inspection of material exiting the equipment. All groups are extended a supervised tour to our gem mine site, which is within walking distance of our main building. |

| If Possible, B.Y.O.B. ... Bring Your Own Shovels! Due to the size of the work area we request deposit on all equipment. It's VERY likely you will get WET ... So, bring a change of clothes and shoes. |
