| Carolina Emerald Mine and Vein Mt. Gold Camp is located in McDowell County, North Carolina, in the town of Marion. The mine is located 6.5 miles south of Interstate 40. Take I-40 to Exit 85, then Rt. 221 south for 6.5 miles to Polly Spouts Road. Make a LEFT hand turn and go 1.75 miles.
